And guys, remember you’re just one step away from healing your back pain and today I’m going to talk about why you need to eliminate energy thieves in your life.
So what is an energy thief? An energy thief is a person that can be in at work or at home, your family and friends or just random people that you meet during the day that you love them and you care about them. But right now you can’t handle their problems as well because you’re suffering from back pain and you’ve been in back pain for three months, six months, a year? And you’re trying to save all your energy in order to reduce your back pain.
So I admit, I’ve been working as a physiotherapist for, for over 20 years now. You guys know this. If you’ve been listening to me for awhile and I’ve treated thousands of back pain patients, and even though stress in your life is not like the only reason why you get back pain, it definitely something, a factor that could, increase your back pain.

Hey guys, this is Robin Wakeham from the Back Pain Secrets podcast and today I want to talk about why the Lumbago diagnosis is a hoax.
To give you guys a bit of the backstory here regarding the diagnosis Lombardo, I had a patient a few weeks back, named Tony. We can call him, told him that’s not his three lane. Tony Works as a firefighter and had been doing this for almost 20 years now and his big thing in life is that he loves to save people.. Which is very noble of him.
He has three kids, three little girls at home. He’s married, he’s around 40, 42 43 years old and he’s been doing this firefighting stuff for all those 20 years growing up, he was very active. He was a soccer goalie on a very high level. He’s into mountain biking now and he’s training quite a lot with his buddies at the firefighter establishment.
Anyway, he’d been suffering from back pain, lower back pain for almost eight to 10 years on and off. Specifically, it was locally on his lower back and he didn’t have so much radiation down his leg. And then one day when he was doing this training with, the firefighter buddies, they were ...
Hey guys, this is Robin Wakeham from the Back Pain Secrets podcast And today I’m going to talk about losing weight, specifically to reduce back pain.
Is it possible, right? That’s what we’re going to talk about. Obviously guys, if you’rE overweight heavyweight and you have excessive weight on you, that can definitely affect your back pain. And there are many reasons for this, but one reason is if you have a good big stomach, it actually decreases your posture or make it worse.
So if you can just take a look at this. This is my stomach right here. If I push my stomach out of it, what happens is that I’ve pushed my stomach out and then I haven’t increased arch in my back. So what happens to this is that it’s actually pushing forward. Now that can definitely irritate your nerves and all kinds of stuff.
Obviously if you’re heavily overweight, there’s all kinds of other health benefits also that is going to affect your health. It’s not good to be very overweight.
But anyway, what I wanted to talk about also is an easy way, to keep your weight down. Even if you’re having a ...
Hey guys, this is Robin Wakeham from the Back Pain Secrets podcast. So today I want to talk about coffee.
Specifically, if your a coffee drinker then this is causing your back pain. First, off guys, I’m not here to point fingers at you, and I’m not going to give you any like you rules and regulations, what not to do and what to do. Everyone’s situation is different, so no hate mail regarding coffee. I drink coffee myself.
I’m going to have to sit right now. I have like one or, two cups of coffee a day, usually in the morning around five o’clock in the morning and then also like at one in the afternoon, I never drink coffee after or during lunch because it affects my sleeping pattern. I’ve had a period in my life where I had like eight to 10 cups of coffee a day.
Also, during these periods I was working quite a lot. I was very stressed. I had like 60 or 70 hour work week. So, I got used to the caffeine to keep me going. So the that caffeine is tricky, right? Because you get this spike of alertness that you want, you get like a kick from it, and you’re alert, but then you also fall afterwards.
Hey guys, this is Robin Wakeham from the Back Pain Secrets podcast and today I’m going to talk about how you should ask for help to reduce your back pain.
It seems sad, kind of obvious – just ask people for help and they will help you or why won’t you ask people for help? But this is something that I see a lot of my patients struggle with in my office right here.
And to give you a bit of a backstory try to understand, this concept better, I’m going to give you a bit of backstory here. So 25 years ago, I injured my back pain. I was spending three years on painkillers, I was depressed. I had a very hard time just functioning and just doing normal stuff in my life. I was very frustrated because no one was really being able to help me.
I was going to doctors, physios, osteopaths, chiropractors, nothing, helped, right? So I started to read a lot of books and that almost got me even more confused because everyone was contradicting themselves. And I went to a physiotherapy university for six years and I graduated. From then on I’ve been building and physiotherapy business and been treating patients everyday.
I see ...

When you’d been working for a while, I’ve been working 20 years as a physio now treating back pain and when you meet a lot of people, I see thousands of patients every day and we’re on this time schedule.
We would love to be able to chat all day and just go deep in all the different areas of your life. But we don’t have time for that. So I have quite a few patients that have been to me but other, physiotherapists or back doctors or whoever that get a bit upset sometimes because they think we’re like stressing the meeting.
But we just want to give you as much helps as possible in that given amount of time we have. So today I’m going to give you guys a few tips. If you had a few bad meetings with, the medical community, doctors, physios, osteopaths, chiropractors, take these tips, wri ...

I’ve been doing this marketing stuff for back pain now for a few months. You guys know the backstory, you know that I’m a physiotherapist 20 years back. Uh, I’ve been working as a physio therapist for 20 years. And by far the most common question I get is regarding herniated discs in the lower back and specifically levels of herniated disc in the lower back.
It’s an added four l five and l five s one. It’s like the, the lower parts of your, back. And you have a herniated disc. The disc acts as ruptures. You have some fluid that goes out and it presses on your nerve and you can feel a radiation down your leg. And it’s very painf ...
Hey guys, this is Robin Wakeham from the Back Pain Secrets podcast and today I want to talk about being a workaholic, specifically you being a workaholic and that could be the reason why you are in back pain, my friend.

I visited anyone that could help me, but I ended up reading a lot of books, I went into a physiotherapy university for six years. I and reduced my own back pain.
After that, I have always been an entrepreneur. So I like to build stuff. I mean this is my third company now. So the first company I had was an online business where we were selling health products to reduce back pain.
The other product, second company I had was regarding physiotherapy. And this company is actually running still. I’ve been building that now for many years and when I built those two companies, first off, I had to spend a hell of a lot of time guys to build it.
For the first year and a half, I spent like 60,70 – 80 hours a week to build those co ...
Hey guys, this is Robin Wakeham from the Back Pain Secrets podcast and today I wanna talk about why you shouldn’t let your feelings control your back pain.
This thing of being negative and thinking no instead of yes, instead of thinking this will never work out to say this, it will work out is hard.
To give you a bit of backstory, I injured my back 25 years back playing ice hockey. And for three years I was struggling with back pain, daily painkillers, sleeping badly, restricted movements, couldn’t do what I was wanting to do and it was hard.
And I slipped into this dark place where I started to become very, very negative. And I read some books and I talked to some people, but I had a hard time to break out, right? To, to come out from that dark place.
So I’m not a smart guy. So I needed to simplify this stuff. So I did it very easy for me, very, very easy. Instead of thinking, no, that was, that was, like my default. I felt, no, this will not work out, blah, blah, blah. I thought I started to think yes instead. Just switched. Switch over like that.
So a few examplesm instead of saying, “Eh, this wi ...
